Privacy Policy
Effective date: 10 October 2026 · Last updated: 28 October 2026
This policy explains what information we handle when you visit velocitistudio.com or send us an enquiry, why we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
This website is operated by Nelson Hernandez Guerra, a sole trader based in Dublin, Ireland, trading as VelocitiStudio. VelocitiStudio is a registered business name (Registered Business Name No. 796280). For the personal information described in this policy, we are the data controller. You can contact us about any privacy matter using the method described in "How to make a privacy request" below.
Information you give us
When you use the enquiry form, we collect:
- your name
- your email address
- the project type you choose (optional), which is saved as part of your message
- your message
We also record the date and time your enquiry was sent. Please don't include sensitive information, such as health details, in your message.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider handles basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver and secure the site.
See our Cookie Policy for the small number of cookies involved.
Why we use your information, and our legal bases
- Answering requests for quotes or services: we use your details to reply and to prepare a quotation. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- Answering general enquiries that are not about using our services: legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Sending you a confirmation email after you submit the form, so you know we received it. Same legal basis as your enquiry.
- Running and securing the website, including protecting it against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure (Article 6(1)(f)). We limit this to technical data and keep access restricted.
How enquiries are handled and stored
Your enquiry is saved in our website database. A notification is emailed to the VelocitiStudio administrator, and a confirmation is emailed to you. Only the authorised administrator can read or delete saved enquiries, and this access is enforced by the database itself. Visitors and other accounts cannot view them.
Service providers
We use these providers to run the website:
- Lovable: website hosting, database and email sending.
- Cloudflare: the network our hosting runs on, which delivers and protects the site.
- Google: administrator sign-in for our team only, and the email inbox where we receive enquiry notifications.
Our fonts are served from our own website, so loading a page does not send your information to a font provider.
Where information is stored and international transfers
Enquiries are stored in a database located in the European Union (Ireland). Our hosting platform, Lovable Labs Inc. (USA), and some of its service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. The Irish database location does not mean that all processing takes place in the EU.
This website is operated on a Lovable Business workspace. Lovable has confirmed to us that its Data Processing Agreement applies automatically to Business workspaces. We are still reviewing how that agreement applies to our website, including its international-transfer safeguards, and we have not yet verified the contractual arrangements for every service used to operate this website.
Google, which provides our administrator sign-in and the email inbox where we receive enquiry notifications, may also process information outside the European Economic Area. Its processing arrangements are separate from those of our hosting provider.
How long we keep information
We keep ordinary enquiries for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact with you. Enquiries are reviewed and deleted manually by our administrator; deletion is not automatic. We may keep an enquiry longer if we need to meet a legal obligation or deal with a dispute.
If you become a client, records relating to our work together, such as quotes, invoices and correspondence, are kept for as long as required under Irish law, which for tax records is generally at least six years. Different records may be kept for different periods depending on their purpose.
Our service providers keep their own technical logs for periods they set.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiries is limited to the authorised administrator. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or ask us to restrict how we use it. You can also object to us using it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object at any time.
How to make a privacy request
Use our enquiry form and write "Privacy request" at the start of your message, followed by what you would like us to do. We will reply to the email address you provide within one month of receiving your request. If a request is complex, or you make several requests, we may extend this by up to two further months; if so, we will tell you within the first month and explain why.
Making a request is free. We may charge a reasonable fee, or decline to act, only where a request is clearly unfounded or excessive, or where you ask for further copies of the same information. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to Ireland's Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie.
